Meet Our Newest Wellness Provider!
Diane Pinkard, MSN, FNP
Diane joined Knox Wellness with a wealth of clinical experience throughout her 30-year career as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Her vast experience offers patients a comprehensive knowledge base that includes Chronic EBV, thyroid and autoimmune issues along with an understanding practitioner. Diane’s personal commitment to integrative, wellness-based healthcare has made her a natural fit for our Knox Wellness team.
Diane holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UT Martin and Master of Science degree in nursing from UT, Knoxville. She has been at the forefront of the Family Nurse Practitioner role in our healthcare system her entire career and she has never stopped broadening her skill set and opportunities to learn more. She has received a certificate in fitness and a number of aesthetic certifications which she has also put to good use during her time with Knox Wellness.
She feels her experience across the many aspects of healthcare helps her identify an understanding of the underlying issues, and gives her the ability to provide a more comprehensive, individualized treatment. She loves helping patients find ways to address both specific concerns or issues they are having, and also improve their overall health and well-being. Diane offers a caring approach to patient needs and believes we all deserve a high quality of life.
Diane embarked on her career at the Memphis Health Department. She was specifically responsible for pediatric care, chronic disease, family planning including hormones and infertility and geriatric care.
Due to her proficiency in dealing with a broad spectrum of health situations and her clinical expertise, Diane was recruited to the UT Memphis on-campus clinic as the clinic coordinator and a faculty instructor. The clinic saw both students and employees of the university and she was responsible for occupational health, student health and overall clinic management – while also teaching courses in the FNP curriculum.
Diane then worked directly in women’s health, conditions and infertility. She was directly responsible for both routine patient visits and for identifying special situations that may require more advanced care. As her passion for women’s health expanded, she became sought after for her technical capabilities in female centered oncology. In this role she supported patients through all types of cancer and pre-cancerous situations including conducting hospital rounds, administering treatment and ongoing follow up.
Diane had the chance to expand healthcare in a broad, accessible and manageable way for patients by developing the regional MintueClinic operations inside CVS pharmacies in East Tennessee. As the district manager of operations, she was responsible for all aspects of developing, opening and managing 10 clinics in Knoxville and Chattanooga. The broad spectrum of patients and their healthcare issues provided Diane with the highest level of competencies in the field.

Kristine Kinsey, LMT
Kristine Kinsey began her career as a massage therapist in 2009. She believes massage is an important part of a complete wellness program that benefits both the body and mind. The healing touch of massage improves the physical and mental health of the patient and increases physical flexibility. It also boosts the “feel-good” hormones, serotonin and dopamine, while decreasing the stress hormone, cortisol. Kristine uses various techniques, such as moist heat, deep-tissue work and passive-assisted stretching, to create a custom massage experience in a relaxed setting.
