Welcome to Our New Team Member!
Melissa Wyrick, RN
Melissa Wyrick believes that every person has something beautiful about them. A medical aesthetics nurse and laser operator for Knox Wellness, Melissa holds nearly 20 years of experience in medical aesthetics. Her approach to facial aesthetics is both clinical and holistic. She enjoys performing the procedures, but also tries to understand the underlying conditions like aging or troublesome areas, allowing her to provide clients with a one-on-one, comprehensive and individualized treatment plan to best meet their aesthetic needs.
Melissa provides clients with services like injectable treatments, dermal fillers and laser treatments. She also serves as a skin care consultant, analyzing client skin types and helping people achieve their personal image goals.
A graduate of Walters State Community College in 1994, Melissa is a registered nurse. She has worked in both dermatology and plastic surgery and enjoys both fields. For nine years, Melissa served as a part-time Candela Laser instructor, and the last five years she has been awarded Black Diamond Status by Allergan as an injector—designating her among the top 1% of all BOTOX® Cosmetic and filler injectors in the United States. She holds multiple certifications in facial aesthetics and laser operations.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys taking weekend road trips, hiking, playing the piano and attending church.
Emily Cleveland-Job, ND
Emily Cleveland-Job, a Naturopathic Doctor, received her doctoral degree from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, OR. Her approach to health begins with the belief that clients are best served when the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional aspects of health are all considered and addressed. She emphasizes prevention of disease by promoting healthy lifestyle choices and whole foods nutrition. Before moving home to Oak Ridge, TN, Dr. Cleveland-Job enjoyed a thriving practice in Portland, OR.
Dr. Cleveland-Job, as a certified provider of the Low Energy Neurofeedback System, has worked with a number of patients who have suffered from neurological, cognitive, and emotional difficulties after traumatic brain injury. These individuals often have trouble identifying the cause of their difficulties, because symptoms may not appear until many months after an injury.
With Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS), Dr. Cleveland-Job has helped many individuals by reducing the frequency and severity of headaches; improving cognitive function, attention and focus; and alleviating anger, moodiness, anxiety, and insomnia; thus enabling many previously incapacitated individuals to return to their jobs. LENS is very effective at decreasing and, in some cases, completely resolving seizures. Dr. Cleveland-Job continues to be amazed by the brain’s ability to heal when given the right stimulation.
Dr. Cleveland-Job has extensive knowledge in the care of various cardiovascular conditions, hormonal imbalances and difficulties with menopause, thyroid problems, weight gain, and diabetes.
Training and Residency
Dr. Cleveland-Job graduated from Earlham College in Richmond, IN with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. After finishing her four-year medical training at NCNM, she completed her residency training at the Center for Natural Medicine in Portland. Throughout this residency, while working with Martin Milner, ND and Peter Banitt, MD, Dr. Cleveland-Job received specific training in cardiovascular medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), targeted amino acid therapy, weight loss, and compounded thyroid hormones.
Dr. Cleveland-Job completed a one-year internship at NCNM working with individuals who were recovering from traumatic brain injuries. With this internship and additional training through Ochs Labs in Sebastapol, CA, Dr. Cleveland-Job became a certified provider of LENS and is experienced in treating many conditions including attention disorders, migraines, seizures, chronic pain, anxiety, sleep disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress, attention and hyperactivity problems, reactive attachment disorder and the many symptoms resulting from traumatic brain injuries.
In her free time, Dr. Cleveland-Job enjoys spending time with her husband John, barefoot running, biking, cooking and music.
Emily Kopek, PA-C
Emily Kopek has always had a passion for health. Through her own struggles with autoimmune disease, she learned from a young age that she had a fascination on how the body works together. She received a degree in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary, where she also taught fitness classes and was a personal trainer. She continued her education at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, receiving a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science where she also enjoyed teaching undergraduate Exercise Science labs and sports, such as tennis and volleyball.
She decided to further her education by attending Physician Assistant School at South College in Knoxville, TN.
Emily began her career in Family Medicine, acquiring a background of treating a variety of conditions that has helped her throughout her time as a physician assistant. She then had the experience to work in obstetrics and gynecology, where she obtained a passion for hormone balancing and how vital this is for quality of life. She was then given the opportunity to learn more about functional medicine and treating in a more holistic manner. She loves helping patients who have been the conventional medicine route but are still having problems, the more complex the better! She also has a passion for nutrition and believes strongly in healing through diet. She treats a variety of conditions including hormone imbalances, thyroid conditions, autoimmune conditions, adrenal fatigue, neurotransmitter imbalances, and gastrointestinal issues.

Kristine Kinsey, LMT
Kristine Kinsey began her career as a massage therapist in 2009. She believes massage is an important part of a complete wellness program that benefits both the body and mind. The healing touch of massage improves the physical and mental health of the patient and increases physical flexibility. It also boosts the “feel-good” hormones, serotonin and dopamine, while decreasing the stress hormone, cortisol. Kristine uses various techniques, such as moist heat, deep-tissue work and passive-assisted stretching, to create a custom massage experience in a relaxed setting.
